It seems that this year, certainly in the Stara Zagora region, the municipalities have got their act together and are sending out demands for tax payments to the property owners addresses.
So this means your company address - check if this is your house address and you are not there often, that there is not a letter for you with the local post office or neighbour or mayor.
If you address is an agency address or lawyer's address, they will have received your tax demand.
There are small discounts for paying these amounts before end of April, June etc.....
On average my yearly municipality tax is around 12 levs per property.

hi rachel geoff here again, is it possible to pay our property tax by direct debit, we are in the process of setting up a dd for our electric, but they need our deeds to change company name to my name, we will bring these over in aug when we meet up with tony, our house is in opalchenets, nr cherpan, where would we have to take tax payments, is it stara zag, or brat dask, can you recomend a good accountant, i have sent bulgarian properties an email to see if they have paid our tax,s, no reply yet, but i dont think i will get much out of these anyway, once you have handed your money over you are forgotten, but we shall see, how was the lessons with tony, everything all set to go. regards geoff.

Not sure what your district is to pay tax - likely Chirpan or if close to Bratya Daskalova could be there. You can pay by direct bank transfer but not sure about direct debit.
I am still trying to find a good accountant that speaks English.
