My apartment is in the Chalet Montagne complex in Bansko. The apartment was built and sold as an empty shell, leaving it up to me and the rest of the owners to furnish and kit out all the necessities to enable me to rent it out. Looking at all the options for furnishing, from Ikea type shops in Varna and online furniture stores in Bulgaria I can heartedly recommend Phil from Creative Interiors in Bansko. creativeinteriors.effecta.co.uk/
His service is excellent, in fact better than what you would expect from U.K based furnishing houses. He measured up, sent us his design ideas and showed us samples of the wood and materials he planned on using.
My apartment needed a full kitchen installing which he had hand made from quality wood. He also carried out extras such as moving power sockets to more accessible areas as the Bulgarians are renowned for just randomly placing power sockets in the least accessible places. His prices were on par with the flat pack rubbish that is available from other suppliers. I had a snowboard and boot rack custom fitted in the apartment entrance hall that will save my walls and floors from damage and it looks great.
He has an office/showroom in the centre of Bansko, but he can do a full fitting without you even needing to be in Bulgaria. I would recommend that if you do decide to buy your furniture from Creative interiors that you reserve early as the furniture does take some time to be built as it is all hand made. I am really pleased with the finish and will definitely use Phil again. I have pictures of my finished apartment on my personal apartment webpage: www.28chaletmontagne.co.uk/
