I'd like to see a province guide...on a map, listing all about each area, pro's and cons, etc. For me for example, it's been really difficult to find good photographs that show the lie of the land in Dobrich. I can't find anything on Tervel, let alone the varius Villages in that area and what if anything they contain of interest to the visitor. You can be sure that when I go, I'll be taking hundreds of photo's.

Dobrich - flat, agricultural, not much around, can be windy, colder than southern Bulgaria.......
pro's -> not too far from Varna, cheaper than many other places in Bulgaria.
Cons -> where many many Brits bought as very cheap, promoted as close to the coast, poor infrastructure compares to many places, agriculture as main employment

Mm, I know it's at least 2 hours to the coast, and that is a slight concern, but I'm really more interested in a rural way of life....and horses, growing stuff and hopefully appealing to others that want a cheap holiday doing much the same thing (horse riding, not gardening) Nothing is written in stone yet, and I intend to look at a few places while I'm there in July...but that's the idyll . Would be even better if it was nearer the coast by an hour, but hey ho...

Pretty much anywhere in Bulgaria (except city and large towns) will offer you rural way of life. Everyone is every village grows veggies, has fruit trees, is self sufficient......you do need to look at many areas. We are 2 hours from the coast close to Stara Zagora, we do holiday lets as there is plenty to do for tourists - Thracian tombs, Rose Festival, mineral spas, lakes, mountains, horse riding, 4x4's etc.
