Bulgarians will soon get new biometric passports and at the same time those foreigners resident in Bulgaria will get a proper ID card resembling the ID card carried by all Bulgarians. Looks set to come in next year sometime. Will be a welcome change as the current long term permit card is useless with no proper details.
